Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through our Shopify store, including photography services and photography equipment. This policy is written in accordance with EU consumer protection law and the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven).


1. Legal Framework

Customers located in the EU/EEA, including Norway, are entitled to statutory consumer rights. Nothing in this policy limits or waives your mandatory rights under applicable law. Where this policy and the law conflict, the law shall prevail.


2. Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)

2.1 Physical Products (Photography Equipment)

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

  • The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you, or a third party indicated by you, receive the goods.

  • To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision by a clear written statement (e.g. email).

2.2 Effects of Withdrawal

  • You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date you informed us of your withdrawal.

  • You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

  • We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of return.

2.3 Refund Timing

  • All payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, will be refunded within 14 days from the date we receive notice of withdrawal.

  • Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.


3. Condition and Diminished Value (Physical Products)

  • You may inspect the goods as you would in a physical store.

  • You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

  • Goods must be returned in their original packaging where possible, with all accessories included.


4. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Digital content delivered electronically if performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you lose your right of withdrawal

  • Customized or made-to-order equipment

  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons once unsealed


5. Photography Services

5.1 Booking and Withdrawal

For photography services (including photo shoots, editing, consultations, and event coverage):

  • You have a 14-day right of withdrawal unless the service has been fully performed.

  • If you request that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you must provide express consent and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal will be lost once the service is fully completed.

5.2 Withdrawal After Service Has Started

  • If you withdraw after the service has begun but before it is completed, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the work already performed, in accordance with EU and Norwegian law.

5.3 Completed Services

  • Once a photography service has been fully performed, and you have consented to early performance, the service is non-refundable.

  • Refunds are not provided based on dissatisfaction with artistic style or subjective preferences, provided the service was delivered in accordance with the agreement.


6. Digital Deliverables

  • Digital files (edited photos, galleries, downloads) are considered digital content.

  • By purchasing digital content, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun.

  • If digital files are defective or inaccessible, we will provide corrected or replacement files at no additional cost.


7. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive goods that are defective, damaged, or incorrect:

  • Contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

  • You are entitled to remedies under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven), including repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund, where applicable.

  • Return shipping costs for defective or incorrect items will be covered by us.


8. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are handled as a return and new purchase, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

10. Governing Law

This policy is governed by Norwegian law. Disputes may be brought before the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) or the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, where applicable.
